Standard Shipping has been certified ever since year 2000 on ISO 9002:1994 standard for Quality Management System in MANNING BUSINESS – CREWING ACTIVITIES ; EVALUATION , PROSPECT , SELECTION , GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT / EMPLOYMENT SERVICES whilst in 2011 this certification successfully changed to the new standard ISO9001:2008. During November 2007, STANDARD has thoroughly and successfully passed without any non-conformities, the audit for Crew Manning Offices kept by ASP SHIP MANAGEMENT Glasgow representative in our Constanta office.

 

For the past years  , Standard Shipping managed to successfully complete Internal Office Audits kept and audited by V.SHIPS SAM at our premises and we have been certified as Official Independent Crewing Office for recruitment jobs on their behalf. We therefore provide , recruitment and crewing services to VShips Group Monaco for the openings on the various ships placed under their operational management.

 

During recent years STANDARD has been awarded with various distinctions . Amongst these we may essentially highlight (i) 1st place two years in a row 2003 and 2004 in Constanta for outstanding results in crewing services and 8th place in 2008 in Romania for same excellent results in this main area of business – all these rewarded by the Romanian Chamber of Commerce.  In 2012 STANDARD has been awarded 3rd place by the National Council of Private Companies in Romania for outstanding yield activity in 2011.
